What is our mission?
Westleigh Play and Learn Centre is a Christian mission outreach centre, where we strive to provide our learners with a balanced education regarding their physical, mental, spiritual and social well-being.
History
Established in 1984 as a Christian Pre-school, Westleigh Play and Learn Centre has always been committed to sowing the seeds of God’s love in the hearts and minds of the little ones who have been entrusted in our care over the years.
Today the Centre is a non-profit pre-school who caters for the children between 18 months and 6 years in our community.
Every year we leave Westleigh Play and Learn’s legacy with the Grade R graduates, who each receive a Bible at their Graduation Ceremony. Our hope being that the Bible will remind them of God’s love when they venture on to Primary School as well as through life.
Praise God for the wonderful way He is looking after and has been blessing Westleigh Play and Learn Centre.
40th
This year (2024) Westleigh Play and Learn will be celebrating 40 years of serving the Lord as well as our community.
Thank you Lord for Your continued care and protection over the past 40 years.
Thank you for helping us ignite a love for You in the hearts of the children in our care.
Curriculum
We follow the ELDA and CAPS curriculum.
Classes are taught in both languages up to Gr 0.
Gr R is taught in English.
Every week we have a different theme and Bible lesson.
School Holidays
We are open during the year except for the 1st week of June/July holidays and close on 15 Dec for +/- three weeks in December.
